Dare you? Sydney's haunted island will be a tourist attraction

According to the Australian website, there is an island called "Pitt Island" (Peat Island), about 50 kilometers north of Sydney, which was once a mental hospital and has been rumored to be haunted. However, the new state of government recently proposed a tourism development plan for the island.

The report said there had been rumours of "haunted" on the island before, and that the new state of government now plans to redevelop Pitt Island into a tourist area with accommodation, cafes, retail stores and 130 berths, wharf. And in the land side of the Mooney to carry out new residential development projects.

New state property director Victor Dominello (Victor Dominello) said the new state's government could start construction by the end of next year and the island will be open to the public by 2021. "it's really a mysterious island, and people think, 'what's the history there, what's going on there, why it's closed?' that's where ghost stories are often mentioned." Said Codo Dominiello.

Walker (Leon Walker) of (Property NSW), the new state real estate agency, also says there is a legend of ghost stories on a small island. "there have been many unexplained events over the years, people say they have heard footsteps and the sound of opening and closing, but there is no explanation for any reason." Volcker said the development plan was aimed at "celebrating the history of the island, including the legacy of Europeans and indigenous peoples on the island."
