Trump complained to New York Times that he lost a lot of money when he became president, but he has a strong reputation

As we all know, Trump has been strained with the media since he took office, often labelled as "fake news" for the media he does not like.

In January last year, he even awarded a special award on social media-the fake News Award-which turned out to be < New York Times > 'bravely ahead'. For the following year, Trump's relationship with the newspaper was still weak, at odds with each other.

In an interview with < New York Times > in the Oval Office of the White House on January 31st, Trump said he loved his job and said he had made a lot of achievements, but regretted that he had lost a lot of money.

< New York Times > is a description of Trump: he sits behind his desk, has an occasional sip of Coke, and ice floats over it.

When journalist asks, "when you talk about being president and making sacrifices to yourself and your family, can you foresee, at some point in the next year, you're going to say,'I don't need to do this anymore,'" I'm not running for re-election'? "

Trump ranked 776 out of 2124, with a net worth of $3.1 billion (about 20.88 billion yuan), according to Forbes and the 2018 list of billionaires released in March last year. On the Forbes billionaires list in 2015, Trump was worth $4.5 billion. The ranking was released before he announced his candidacy for the presidency in 2015.

According to Forbes, Trump's net worth is concentrated in six buildings in downtown Manhattan in New York, including the famous Trump Tower, as well as several golf courses and a winery in Virginia. But Trump often boasted that he was worth far more than Forbes' estimates, claiming in a 2016 campaign document that his wealth was "over $10 billion." In 2015, Trump scolded Forbes magazine for "incompetence and loss" because it only thought he had $4.5 billion in assets.

When asked about the Tommen investigation, Trump's voice was low and his arms clenched to his chest, but when it came to other issues, he was more easygoing and more humorous, and he became very active in denouncing what he considered unfair media coverage.

Then he recalled his life as a businessman and thought about the money he had lost since he became president.

Because of themselves "(instead of the president) this job has lost a great deal of wealth."

Before joining the White House, Trump was known to be a wealthy real estate businessman who made a lot of money at real estate and his own Reality Show program. But since he began his political career, his total assets have been falling.

Mr Trump then pointed out that thankfully, he did not need the money. Mr Trump said he still liked the job and would pursue a second term in office as to whether he would give up the 2020 presidential election because of a huge loss of wealth.
