Sydney, Dec. 4, 2018 Sydney New year celebration press conference held in Sydney. The festival, featuring "Sydney pulsation", will begin at 5: 00 p.m. on December 31, 2018, at Sydney Port until 2: 00 a.m. on January 1, 2019, and greet 2019 with local people in a singing and dancing fireworks display.

Sydney Mayor Crawford Moore said at the press conference that New year`s Eve is the perfect time to reflect the "Sydney pulsation", when more than 1 million people will gather in Sydney Port. With more than a billion viewers around the world, we witnessed the song, dance and fireworks display of the 2018 Sydney New year celebrations.
It is reported that the preparations for the New year`s celebration took more than 10, 000 hours, a total of 15 months, by more than 1000 staff and 300 volunteers to complete. The celebrations include flying stunts, water shows, fireworks, Australian Aboriginal ceremonies, traditional smoky rituals and fantasy projection performances, among others. It shows Australia`s unique historical tradition and cultural characteristics by various forms of artistic expression.
At this year`s celebration, the total weight of fireworks about to bloom in the harbour`s night sky amounts to 8.5 tons, 500 kilograms more than in 2017, including 35,000 columnar and 13,000 round flares. The fireworks show was designed by the general director Fortunato Forty`s family team, and the celebration marks the 22nd consecutive year of the company`s design of a fireworks display for Sydney`s government.

According to Forti, more than 100, 000 fireworks special effects, including the Harbour Bridge fireworks special effects, including the "pulsating Star" of the brand-new styling, and so on.
The New year`s New year celebration will also be based on the creation of a five-minute animated short film of the same name by Australian veteran band Icehouse`s classic song "the Great South mainland", which will be combined with the interpretation of the native Australian pop and dance duo Client Liaison. As a celebration of the original "Music moment" at 11:00 on New year`s Eve in the form of soundtrack animation projection on the Sydney Harbour Bridge pier wall. The animated projection of the soundtrack will highlight Australia`s unique landscape of sunny beaches, inland wilderness, and sunsets, infusing new life into the pulsation of Sydney Harbour.
