More than 1500 people in Sandy Bay, Tahrena, are preparing for a collective winter swim.
In addition to the red caps, they were naked and enthusiastic, celebrating the annual Dark Mofo Naked Swimming Festival with action.
Last year, the number of participants was 1020, today more than 1500 people.
The minimum temperature this morning was 7 degrees Celsius.
The DarkMofo Naked Swimming Festival, part of the DarkMofo Art Festival, aims to challenge public perception of art through a series of events and exhibitions organized by Museum of Old and New Arts (MONA).
