Australia's top 10 hottest professional skills are emerging, and a group of people are finally exhaling.

Note to your friends: Australia's top 10 most popular workplace skills have come out of the market, everyone quickly come to see!

LinkedIn, the world's largest professional social networking site, recently summarized billions of data points through an analysis of all recruitment-related activities on the site between January and September 2016. Ten of Australia's most popular skills are identified as:

1. Statistical analysis and data mining

2. SEO/SEM Marketing

3. Middleware and integration software

4. HR benefits and compensation

5. Network and information security

6. Mobile development

7. User interface design

8. Web page architecture and development framework

9. Algorithm design

10. Corporate law and governance

The list shows that most of the top 10 skills are related to computer technology.

In other words, those who are computer-savvy are more popular with employers and more likely to find jobs than others.

Cliff Rosenberg, managing director of LinkedIn Australia, said the ongoing changes in technology had led to rapid changes in popular skills and "our data show that technology-related skills will be more popular in the future."

He also points out that while computer skills are popular, some soft skills are also essential.

"A lot of companies need all-around talent, so professionals still need some soft skills to succeed."

These soft skills include teamwork, empathy, creativity, communication skills, problem solving skills, etc.

In addition, LinkedIn has released the top 10 of the world's hottest skills, respectively:

Cloud computing and distributed computing

2. Statistical analysis and data mining

3. Web page architecture and development framework

4. Middleware and integration software

5. User interface design

6. Network and information security

7. Mobile development

8. Data display

9. SEO/SEM Marketing

10. Storage systems and management

Although slightly different from Australia's list, computer-related technology in general is a very popular skill not only in Australia, but also around the world.

Xiao Wei feels that those sitting in front of the computer all day, talking about terms that others do not understand, using technology that others do not understand, are always regarded as nerds' technical homes. After all, they are the "hot and hot spots" in the workplace!
