Australia's gambling problem revealed in the latest report, thousands of slot machine. Can be found in hotels in Sydney's central business district alone.
According to the Daily Mail, 3442 slot machine units in Sydney's CBD range earn more than A $300m a year. Meanwhile, 977 slot machine licences have been distributed to bars and clubs, but only 691 are currently in use.
New state slot machine earned more than A $3 billion between 2016 and 2017, according to the latest report from the new state liquor and gambling game division funding.
Since Sydney issued a ban on alcohol in 2014, the new state, known as "baume management", has not affected residents' love of gambling.
According to the Department of Finance background report, new state slot machine earnings will soar to A $7 billion by 2021.
Downtown Sydney is not the only new state with a large amount of gambling machine.
Wolonggang's (Wollongong)-wide club has 2622 active slot machine, local clubs and hotels with a profit of nearly A $160 million.
The club in Penris (Penrith), a suburb of Sydney, has just 2133 gambling machine, units but has a net profit of nearly A $180 million, or even higher than Wolonggang.
