Chinese tourists help Uygur tourism development, last year ushered in 680000 people

According to the Herald Sun, Chinese tourists now spend more in Victoria than in Kunzhou, South Australia and Western Australia combined.

According to (National Visitor Survey), a national tourist survey released on Wednesday, 679900 Chinese tourists came to Victoria last year, an average annual increase of 13 percent since 2014.

In the year to March, there were 90.6 million tourists from home and abroad, spending a record A $30 billion.

Of all regions of Victoria, the Murray (Murray) region had the highest tourism revenue, up 14.7 percent, to A $1.5 billion. This was followed by a total of A $1.3 billion and A $1.2 billion for (Great Ocean Road) and (High Country), tourists in Oceania Road and Highland, respectively.

Gansk (Jennifer Ganske), director of marketing at the museum, said Chinese accounted for about 85 per cent of the total number of international visitors to Shuffin Mountain. She points out that more free and independent tourists are here now than group tourists.

Other overseas tourists come from New Zealand (345900), the United States (247700), the United Kingdom (221700) and India (170800).

It is reported that with the help of advertising campaigns, the number of Uygur residents playing locally has also increased.

Melbourne's tourism spending rose 10.3 percent to A $19 billion.

Tourism provides more than 214000 jobs in Victoria, 85000 of which are in remote areas, according to new data.
