Adelaide, stupid driver! Think the perfect escape after the accident!

Police are looking for the owner of a red HoldenClubsport, the hit-and-run driver who hit a residential home through a fence in Grosvenor Place around 11:30 on Wednesday.

Had the license plate not been left at the scene, the driver could have been described as "perfect" away from the crime scene.

The vehicle that caused the accident resembled Holden Clubsport. It is reported that the driver fled the scene of the accident into a tree, and then hit a house.

The front bumper was knocked down and a South Australia registration licence, licence plate No. AA916M., was left behind. If the car's license plate hadn't left the scene, the driver could almost have escaped perfectly. Fortunately, the hostess was not injured in the incident.

The driver was described as white, skinny and wearing a sweatshirt.

Police urge anyone who has witnessed the vehicle to call the police at 131444. Anyone familiar with the incident should call the crime line 1800 333,000 or report on the Internet.
