Today, World Naked Ride Day World Naked Bike Ride is finally back in Melbourne!
This time the scene will be bigger than ever! Bystanders should quickly feel the atmosphere of hundreds of people riding naked in CBD.
World Naked Bike Ride, is actually a world-wide organized bicycle parade campaign to promote more environmentally friendly modes of transportation: cycling, and protest using petroleum fuel as a means of transportation. At the same time, let people pay more attention to the safety of cyclists. After all, car emissions of carbon dioxide and various exhaust gases aggravate the environmental pollution, bicycles are undoubtedly the most environmentally friendly means of transport!
The event dates back to 2004 and has been around for more than a decade since founder Conrad Schmidt launched it! The first parade was held in Spain, and since then the eco-friendly and political parade has swept the world.
So don't be prejudiced against this activity, oh, this is always a significant parade!
By the time it began in 2004, the campaign had spread across four continents, holding parade in 28 cities and 10 countries. In 2010, it expanded to 74 cities and 17 countries, from the United States to the United Kingdom, Hungary to Paraguay, every corner of the world can feel their enthusiasm.
So, in order for their awareness of environmental protection to be widely publicized and to attract media attention, people decided to do some body painting together, spray some parade slogans, and then ride naked (and not mandatory nudity, of course)! Many people think that naked riding is related to sex, but it is not. People in the form of nudity to the public is also to appeal to people to accept their own body shape! Tall, short, fat and thin, they are beautiful and worthy of love.
