According to the Daily Mail, Queensland couples Waltz (Kirsty Volz) and Toussaint (David Toussaint) spent A $ two hundred and fifty thousand to buy a piece of land in Brisbane and build a 2.3m-wide home here.

When Waltz and Toussaint discovered that Brisbane was selling for just A $ two hundred and fifty thousand, they couldn't believe their luck.

Located in Clayfield (Clayfield), 7 kilometers northeast of CBD, the site is backed by a local train line and covers an area of 317 square metres. The disadvantage of the land is that it is less than three metres wide.

Faced with this problem, the family of three has built a 2.3-meter-wide two-story home, perhaps the thinnest in Brisbane or Australia.

Although very restrictive, the couple said they were proud of the house because it was designed by themselves.

The property is composed of two-part residential buildings, connected by a corridor and surrounded by perforated planks to ensure privacy.

The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full-size kitchen, and even a backyard with a small nest for golden hounds and a small garden.

As the frontage is narrow, there is no room to create a parking or front door, and to enter the house, it is necessary to walk from the next channel to the next half of the residential building, from the door there to the house.

Mr. Waltz said a lot of people might find it too difficult to build a house on such a land, but they thought they could do it at the time.

It is reported that the couple have rented the house.
