Introduction

Macquarie Pass National Park is located about 115km by car from Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, and about 30km from Wolonggang, (Wollongong), the third largest city in New South Wales, located in (Illawarra region), in the Irrawara region of southeastern New South Wales. About 20 kilometers from the small town of Shellharbour, covering an area of about 11 square kilometers.
