Cape Bridgewater is located on the southwest coast of Victoria, about 20 kilometers from the coastal town of Portland.
Cape Bridgewater is named after (Duke of Bridgewater), Duke of Bridgewater, including the discovery of Bay Marine Park (Discovery Bay Coastal Park) and Rishman Mountain National Park (Mount Richmond National Park).
Cape Bridgewater has a vast coastal landscape, consisting of millions of years of wind erosion and sea erosion sand and stone. Cape Bridgewater is best known for its petrochemical forest in the southwest corner, (Petrified Forest), a group of hollow tubular rocks on coastal cliffs that are said to have been thick coastal forests millions of years ago, petrified by deserts and formed hard trunk-shaped pipes. The highest height of the pipeline here is nearly 20 meters, most of which are about three meters.
In addition, the Bridgewater water spray cave on the edge of the petrochemical forest (Bridgewater Blowholes) is also worth a visit.
