Introduction

Cape Byron Lighthouse is located in the famous coastal resort town of Byron Bay, Cape Byron Lighthouse on the northeast coast of New South Wales in Byron Point (Cape Byron)., the easternmost part of the entire Australian mainland.

The Cape Byron Lighthouse can be reached by car ($8 per trip, limited parking by the lighthouse, difficult to find during holidays), or hiking from Byron Bay along a walkway called Lighthouse Trail. It takes about 1.5 hours to walk. It's a slightly rugged road, but the scenery of rainforests, sea views and sandy beaches is breathtaking.

The scenery around Cape Byron Lighthouse itself is impressive, and it is considered by Australians to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia, with clear water and direct sight of whales with good luck. Lighthouses are open for free during working hours, but can only be followed by tour guides, with a limited number of people at a time. By the side of the lighthouse there is a small coffee shop and a gift house, where a cup of coffee on the invincible sea view is the ultimate enjoyment.

On the way from Cape Byron Lighthouse to the beach at the foot of the hill along the Byron Point walkway, (Cape Byron Lighthouse), you can pass the sign of (Most Easterly Point Of The Australian Mainland), the easternmost point of mainland, Australia. Almost all visitors will remember the license plate in front of this very symbolic sign.
