Carriageworks Farmers Market is located in Redfern, on the southern outskirts of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, about 4 kilometers from the city of Sydney.
(Carriageworks), a former 19th-century train-car manufacturer, has been transformed into an art, cultural, fair-like venue where events include art biennale, fashion week, and a variety of modern art performances.
Carriageworks Farmers Market, held from 8:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays, stands out in many of the Sydney bazaars and is known for its seasonal produce, including organic and biologically active foods produced by local farms and workshops in New South Wales. More than 70 local farmers and artisanal food producers fill their trucks with fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables and handmade food. Only twice a year: the discovery and watchful market, (Finders Keepers Markets), is also held here.
