Introduction

Warrumbungle National Park is located in the Orona region of central New South Wales, about 480km by car from Sydney, the capital of NSW, and covers an area of 233.11 square kilometers. The nearest town is (Coonabarabran)., Kunababran.

Warrumbungle National Park is Australia's first international dark sky association (International Dark Sky Association) certified dark night park (Dark Sky Park), where the climate is dry, the night sky is absolutely free of any light pollution, is one of Australia's best stars. The nearby Seiding Springs Observatory (Siding Springs Observatory) has Australia's largest astronomical telescope, and the journey to the observatory is also fun, on five main roads leading to Kunababran. Fan-shaped models of the solar system's 3-D scale, each planetary site shows a lot of bizarre space knowledge and has always been a child's love.

Warrumbungle National Park attracts more than 35000 visitors a year. The National Park has a unique volcanic landscape, spectacular granite domes and minarets filled with awe of nature, and there are many scenic jungle trails in the park. More than 30 kilometers in length, especially in spring when wildflowers bloom, rock climbing and rope landing are also popular here.

In 2006, Warrumbungle National Park was listed on the Australian National Heritage list.
