Introduction

The Australian Aeronautical Museum (Australian National Aviation Museum) is located within (Moorabbin Airport), the Morabin Airport, on the southern outskirts of Victoria's capital, Melbourne, about 20 kilometers from the city of Melbourne.

The Australian Aviation Museum is owned and operated by Australian aircraft Restoration Group (Australian Aircraft Restoration Group), a non-profit, limited guarantee company. The museum's collection, which began in 1962, is Australia's oldest volunteer aviation museum. Over the past half century, the museum has saved and collected a large number of outstanding representatives of Australian aviation history, on display. The collection or restoration of nearly 50 aircraft is one of Australia's largest museums.

The Australian Aviation Museum, which has three large venues, provides the public with a wide range of aircraft, engines, models, uniforms and other aviation items closely related to Australia's aviation history. Visitors can interact closely with most aircraft and experience the lives of early pilots or military pilots.

The Australian Aviation Museum has a small shop where visitors can buy drinks and snacks and pick out aviation-related books, posters, models and other souvenirs.
