Hampden Bridge is located about 155km south of Sydney in the Kangaroo Valley region of the interior range in central New South Wales. Hampden Bridge is a gothic wooden suspension bridge built over a cliff of 76.8m in length and 5.5m wide. Built in 1898 across the kangaroo river, (Kangaroo River), is one of Kangaroo Valley's landmarks and the oldest and only wooden suspension bridge still in operation in Australia.
