Royal Melbourne Show is the annual event of Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, which integrates agricultural trade, food and pleasure. It is organized by (Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria) of the Royal Victorian Agricultural Association and is held every September at the Melbourne Exhibition Hall (Melbourne Showgrounds).
The first Royal Melbourne Show was held in 1848 and, like the Sydney Royal Easter Show, was designed to bring agricultural and sideline products to the city.
All kinds of animal sports related to agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry are the biggest focus of Royal Melbourne Show, which come from all over the world, and all kinds of fresh agricultural products from local are the most popular themes in Royal Melbourne Show. For children, the biggest attraction comes from a variety of large-scale amusement facilities, bumper cars, pirate ships, free bouncing bodies and so on. How to get to:
- During the Royal Melbourne Show period, every day, starting at 8:30 in the morning, there will be a train from Flinders Street Station (Flinders Street Railway Station) to the Melbourne Exhibition Hall every 10 minutes, stopping at the Southern Cross Station (Sothern Cross Station) and being (North Melbourne Station); at Melbourne Station.
