Founded in 1845 on the south bank of the (Yarra River) in Victoria's capital, the Melbourne, Yala River, Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne is considered one of the best botanical gardens in Australia and one of the bustling Outer Peach Gardens, with an area of about 38 hectares.
Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne brings together more than 10000 species of exotic flowers and grasses. Because Melbourne is warm and frost-free in winter, almost all tropical, subtropical and temperate trees can be grown here.
