Introduction

Linden New Art coastal community of Minnesota (St Kilda) on the southern outskirts of Melbourne state capital, about 8 kilometers from downtown Victoria.

The Linden New Art is situated in a historic Victorian style mansion built in 1871 by the famous architect Alfred Friedrich Coustner (Alfred Friedrich Kursteiner,1829-1897), and the garden of the mansion is designed by the famous botanist William Gilfoyle (William Guilfoyle,1840-1912), who is also the designer of the Melbourne Royal Botanical Garden (Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne). The building was bought in 1870 by Jewish immigrant Moritz Michaels (Moritz Michaelis,1820-1902 years) and named Bodhi Tree (Linden).

Linden New Art is a non-profit modern public art center, which provides a friendly and relatively relaxed visiting environment for visitors, and also provides a good display opportunity for Melbourne young artists. The theme of the exhibition will be updated periodically, please check the official website.
