Seven Shillings Beach is located between Double and Point Piper, two famous wealthy areas in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, the NSW capital, about five kilometres from downtown Sydney.
Seven Gillings Beach, about 300m, with its clear water and young sand, surrounded by mansions with plenty of privacy and few visitors, is the perfect place for locals to sunbathe and enjoy the beautiful views of Sydney Harbour, although it's only part of the Sydney Harbour Bridge because of its sheltered view, but it's also a great place to admire, especially the annual Sydney fireworks. Murray Rose Pool is on the west side of the beach with a trestle-style shark net and a changing clothes and shower by the sea, one of the best places to swim in Sydney. There's also a delicate little garden near the beach: Blackburn Gardens, higher up, is also a good place to enjoy the New Year's fireworks.
