Manly Dam is located in the northern suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, in the coastal community of Manley (Manly), also known as the Manley Ringa War Memorial State Park (Manly Warringah War Memorial State Park), about 15 kilometers from the city of Sydney.

Built in 1892, Manly Dam is about 250m long and 35m high. The Manley Reservoir, where the dam is located, covers an area of 377 hectares. It is the largest freshwater lake around the city of Sydney, surrounded by a beautiful environment and overcast green trees. Birds and flowers, with hiking, swimming, picnics and other activity areas, especially famous for mountain biking and water skiing, barbecue spots scattered around the lake, there are plenty of parking nearby.

The Manley Reservoir walks 7.3 kilometers a week along the lake and takes about three hours to walk. Pets with traction are allowed to enter.
