Alowyn Gardens is located in the northern outskirts of Yarra Glen, a small town within the (Yarra Valley) valley of Victoria's famous wine-producing region, about 15 kilometers by car from (Healesville), the heart of the valley, and about 55 kilometers from downtown Melbourne, Victoria's capital.
Alowyn Gardens, a secret paradise in the Allah Valley, has grown into a nearly 3-hectare lush garden since 1999, when the first tree was planted here, including the Flower House Garden, (Parterre Garden), Forest Garden, (Forest Garden),. Perennial Gardens (Perennial Garden), Foods Garden (Edible Garden), shows gardens, (Display Garden), durable gardens, (Dry Garden), French style gardens, (French Style Garden), etc. There is also a sunken garden and a classic three-story fountain in the center of the garden. Of course, the most intriguing thing is a 100-meter-long, gorgeous wisteria arch (Wisteria Archway), will bloom for four weeks a year in October, when the wisteria arch unsurprisingly becomes a shrine for photo-taking and signing-in. This is also the best time to visit Alowyn Gardens.
