The Werribee Open Range Zoo, located on the picturesque Vlebi River (Werribee River) in the southwest suburb of the state capital Melbourne Victoria, covers an area of about 225 hectares.
Werribee Open Range Zoo many prairie animals thrive in an open natural environment, guided expeditions and walking roads allow visitors to enjoy the world's most beautiful savanna wildlife at close range. Visitors can take the zoo's adventure car to embark on an amazing wildlife adventure on the savanna, across the grasslands and into river valleys, with opportunities to enjoy hippopotamus, rhinoceros, giraffes, zebras and many other species of wildlife at close range. A total of 45 different species of nearly 450 animals, from Africa, Asia and Australia, have been bred for their livelihood, and zoos have been carefully combined according to their ecological characteristics to allow them to live together.
At the Lion Dance Park, you can be close to the proud lions living in the African-style natural environment. Access to newly developed Kuba River (Kuba River) hippopotamus living areas from the Lion Garden. The unparalleled hippopotamus tour allows you to enjoy the hippopotamus at a distance you've never had before, and it's a worthwhile trip to ride through the hippopotamus.
