West Head Lookout is located on the eastern coastline of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park), on the northern outskirts of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales.

West Head Lookout is considered to be one of the most beautiful viewing platforms of Sydney, and it feels like a real visual feast, listening to the sounds of birds and waves when standing on top of it. The ancient rock paintings left by the aboriginal Australian can be seen next to the footpath of the landscape.

Across from West Head Lookout is Palm Beach (Palm Beach) and Balenjoy lighthouse (Barrenjoey Lighthouse), in the left front of the sea is Lion Island (Lion Island), named for a giant lion lying on the surface of the sea.
