Introduction

Barmah National Park is located in (Hume region), in Hume, northern Victoria, about 250km from Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, and covers an area of 285.21 square kilometers.

Australia's longest river, the Murray River, (Murray River) flows past Barmah National Park, because the Murray River is also the geographical boundary between Victoria and New South Wales. So Barmah National Park is also one of the few Australian national parks jointly managed by two states. Barmah National Park owns the world's largest red eucalyptus forest, (River Red Gum Forest),. In addition, the complex ecological environment of wetland and forest in the garden is closely related to the Murray River and its flood condition, which has created a variety of original ecological habitats for many wild animals, especially waterbirds.

The town of Balma, at the southern end of (Barmah) Barmah National Park, and Marshola (Mathoura), located at the western end of the National Park, travel about 10 kilometers east of Picnic Point Rd from Marshola to the main distribution center in Barmah National Park. There is a RV camp and a resort hotel.
