Introduction
Wollongong Head Lighthouse, located at the top of flagpole hill (Flagstaff Hill) on the east coast of Wollongong, NSW's third-largest city, is still in use today.
Built in 1936, Wollongong Head Lighthouse is the first fully automatic lighthouse to be installed in New South Wales, with three dark ancient guns beside it, and a sea pointing north to guard the city. Wollongong Head Lighthouse has a beautiful landscape around it. Here are flying seagulls, blowing sea wind, beautiful and quiet environment.
