Introduction

Webb Bridge is located in (Docklands), the western suburb of Victoria's capital, Melbourne (Melborune), a pedestrian bridge connecting the north and south sides of the Yala River (Yarra River).

The Webb Bridge, also known as the Bridge, was designed by renowned architect Danton Matthew (Denton Marshall) and was completed in 2005.

Webb Bridge is regarded as the most modern design bridge of Melbourne. It is not only the landmark building of port area, but also one of the important symbols of Melbourne city. This strangely styled footbridge across the Yala River was originally part of the Weber wharf railway line, and the winding bridge was super-photogenic, especially at night, even more dreamy.

Follow the hydrophilic footpath (S Wharf Promenade) on the south bank of the Yala River in the port area. Just go west and you will be able to reach Webb Bridge..
