Introduction

Warrandyte State Park is located on the northeast outskirts of Victoria's capital, Melbourne, in (Warrandyte), about 25 kilometers from the city of Melbourne and covers an area of about 586 hectares.

Warrandyte State Park is built along the (Yarra River) River, where the beautiful Yala River forms a curved loop that encircles the park almost.

Founded in 1975 to preserve the geographical, environmental and historical significance of its surroundings, Warrandyte State Park discovered the first gold mine in Victoria in 1851, causing a gold rush. And now the park also retains gold and tunnel sites of the year.

Warrandyte State Park is a popular leisure and tourist place with a natural pristine environment, because it is not far from the city, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and other facilities, local hikers often go to places. The park and its surroundings are pleasant and comfortable. As an oasis from the edge of the city, there are a large number of wild animals, such as kangaroo, platypus, koala, and so on. Although during the gold rush period, the ecology here was greatly affected by human beings, and the vegetation was almost wiped out. But with the opening of the park, much of the park is now covered in green again.
