Introduction

North Head Sanctuary is located on the northern outskirts of Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, in Manley (Manly), about 15 kilometers from the city of Sydney.

The North end of (North Head) is one of the eight headlands contained in the (Sydney Harbour National Park) of the Port Sydney National Park, because it resides in the north end of (Port Jackson Bay), the harbour of Jackson, so it is known as the North end. The other seven headlands are south (South Head), Cape (Vaucluse Point), middle head, (Middle Head), west end, (Dobroyd Head), Giorgis head, (Georges Head), (Chowder Head), and Bradley, head (Bradleys Head).

North head and the south of (South Head) near Watsons Bay (Watsons Bay) across Jackson Bay, holding vessels from the South Pacific (South Pacific Ocean) into the Sydney Port (Sydney Harbour) waterway throat main road, the north end near the cliff road this cliff. Most of the area in the north is listed as North Head Sanctuary, protected area to the north of the Sherry Beach, (Shelly Beach), and in the west, starting at (Collins Flat Beach), Collins Fratt Beach, forming a ring along the peninsula, covering an area of about 12 hectares.

With the most magnificent views of the downtown skyline of Sydney Port and Sydney, North Head Sanctuary combines classic natural beauty and historical heritage, and is one of Sydney's tourist attractions. The reserve is surrounded by steep cliffs and surging waves, very beautiful, with several viewing platforms, you can enjoy the invincible beauty of the port of Sydney; The protected area also contains historical sites such as the (Auarantine Station), former Artillery School, Artillery position, War Memorial Corridor and military barracks Museum at the former Immigration Quarantine Station.
