Introduction

Point Addis Marine National Park, located in southern Victoria, covers an area of about 4600 hectares and is dominated by the ocean. The coastline of Anglesea, a small town near (Great Ocean Road), Ocean Road, is about 10 kilometers long around (Point Addis), Cape Hicks, eastward to (Bells Beach), Beers Beach in Tolcan (Torquay).

The waters protected by Point Addis Marine National Park are home to many marine organisms, and the biodiversity here is few throughout Australia. Through the clear bottom of the sea, you can see swinging brown algae, colorful sponges, sea scabbard and sea fans growing around the base. There are countless colorful starfish, sea snake tails, abalone, duster insects, seashells, hermit crabs and exquisite naked suborder molluscs (sea slugs); fish are also diverse, including a large number of pelagic fish, such as (Butterfly Perch), black Pomfret (Silver Sweep), long-finned sea bream (Long-finned Pike), banded mowo (Banded Morwongs), etc.).

In addition to ocean and coastal cliffs, Point Addis Marine National Park's topography also includes granite reefs below the tidal line, intertidal stone platforms and offshore beaches. Whale back rock (Whaleback Rock) is the most famous scenic spot here, with the sea bed plummeting 90 meters from the seaside, making it one of the deepest marine areas in Victoria. Ocean National Park also has the wreckage of two shipwrecked ships: the SS Colange (SS Kerangie) and the SS Saros (SS Saros).

For tourists visiting Ocean Road, Point Addis Marine National Park, on the way from Jilang (Geelong), will meet the first natural primitive reef coast. Nature has given it a long coastline and beautiful beaches. Here, you can see the trees that have been messed up by the wind, walk through the trestle near the sea, resist the strong sea breeze with a small body, and feel the vastness of the heaven and earth.
