Minnamurra Rainforest is part of the Boudreau National Park (Budderoo National Park) in the Iravara region of southeast New South Wales.
The Minnameurra Rainiest Centre is the entrance and tourist center of the National Park, where Jambero is the nearest small town in the center of the rain forest, a distance of about 5 kilometers away, while the famous resort town of Kiama is about 15 kilometers from the center of the rain forest.
Minnamurra Rainforest is a well-received natural tourist destination and one of the best examples of subtropical and temperate rainforests in New South Wales, which once covered large areas of the Ilavara region.
After entering the rain forest from the Minnamura Rainforest Center, there are two landscape walkways, where tourists can personally experience the rain forest through the traffic network with staggered walkways and tiled paths:
- Loop Walk: It takes about 45 minutes to walk a full 1.6-kilometer walk through various types of rainforest;
- The waterfall trail (Falls Walk): is about 2.6km round trip and takes about 1.5 hours to walk, making it more challenging to safely get to the edge of the canyon cliff in Shangmin Ramula Falls (Upper Minnamurra Falls).
Ticket fee:
- Private car (including all passengers on board): 12 Australian dollars per ca
- Bus or taxi entry: adult: $4.4 per person, child: $2.2 per person
