Capital Region Farmers Market, located in Exhibition Park, the northern suburb of Canberra, is Canberra's larger market for fresh produce, starting from 7:30 to 11:30 on Saturdays, with more than 100 stalls at a time. Many of these stalls were attended by local farmers with their fresh produce. If it's not particularly busy, you can talk to the vendors about their products, and they'll be happy to share with you what they're proud of, and often some of their own experiences with how they cook with these produce. This is a good place to experience where the locals live.
