Glacier Rock Lookout is located in (Barron Gorge National Park), the coastal Baron Canyon National Park in northern Queensland, about 30 kilometers by car from the famous tourist city of Cairns and about 10 kilometers by car from the tourist town of (Kuranda) in the rainforest, Curanda.
Glacier Rock Lookout is located on the top of a towering mountain, where you can view Cairns's beautiful natural landscape and the distant sea from a condescending view. From much of Cairns, you can see the huge sentinel rock, Glacier Rock Lookout at the entrance to (Barron Gorge) in the Baron Gorge Valley, where visitors have to walk up and down a steep mountain road before they can reach it. Although there is no requirement for mountaineering skills, it is a challenge to visitors' physical strength
