Lake Thetis (Lake Thetis,Thetis is the daughter of the Greek mythological Poseidon Nereus) located about 190km north of Perth to the north of the South State National Park (Nambung National Park), and about 2 kilometers from the small town of Cervantes (Cervantes) in the northern part of the South State National Park.
Lake Thetis is a quiet saltwater lake, which is twice as salty as sea water. The road from Cervantes to the lake is an unrestless dirt road, but the lake is carefully trimmed around it, with a treadmill around the lake for a week, no tickets, and a circle around the lake, which takes about 30 minutes. The sparkling surface of the lake, quiet birds, and the biggest feature is the lake's hemispherical grottoes, (Stromatolites), an ancient fungus that has a history of hundreds of millions of years, and in the high salinity of the lake, it is constantly crystallized to form a "stone". Visitors need to be careful not to touch them. These are living creatures that are protected.
