170 Marine Parade, San Remo VIC 3925, Australia

Introduction of San Remo Pelican Feeding

San Remo is a coastal town west of (Anderson Peninsula) on the Anderson Peninsula in southern Victoria, about 125km from Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, connected by a bridge with the famous Philip Island (Phillip Island, also known as Penguin Island.

Pond goose (Pelican, also known as pelican) is a large waterbird with a body length of more than 1.5 meters and is famous for its huge mouth. the mouth is big enough to hold a child's head. Of course, the goose is a gentle animal, and it is easy not to do so.

Near San Remo wharf (San Remo Jetty), there is a large group of wild pond geese. At 12:00 every day, local fishermen provide food to the pond geese in wharf. The feeding show lasts about half an hour and visitors can visit them free of charge. There are some small shops opposite wharf that can buy a cup of coffee for leisure.
