Innes National Park

Inneston SA 5577, Australia

Introduction of Innes National Park

Innes National Park (Innes National Park, is located in (Yorke Peninsula), South Australia, about 290km east of Adelaide, the capital of Australia, and covers an area of 94 square kilometers.

Innes National Park is one of the most famous attractions in the Yorkshire Peninsula, with spectacular coastal views and salt water lakes of various sizes, making it a great resort, fishing, diving and surfing. Innes National Park's best view is along the coastline of Deep Lake. Because the elevation of Deep Lake is higher than sea level, the scenery is very beautiful and spectacular. Visitors can also take a long walk to see wild emus, where there are large lobster fishing grounds and the historic site of (Inneston) in Easton. At the same time, every October, a national surfing competition is held on the park's coastline.

Innes National Park is a paradise for nature lovers. There are more than 140 species of birds, more than 300 species of native plants, 115 of which are rare species, and there are wild kangaroos. Emu (a larger, unflying bird endemic to Australia) and a large number of reptiles, and whales pass through the southern coastline from May to September each year for a chance to be seen.
