Camden Motor Inn Gold Coast

Camden Motor Inn is a family run business . Ross and Jac Given have owned the business since March 2017 , having sold their country pub in central Queensland,and are gradually adding Jac's fine touches to the exterior and interior. The rooms are very big and spacious and have been made very nice and comfortable and gardens are lovely as Jac is also a horticulturist and architectural garden designer. Ross is a retired solicitor.
We believe the major advantage for Camden Motor Inn is its position. It is 100 metres from beautiful Mermaid Beach. It is 5 minutes from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre ( some of the best shopping in the world ), the Casino and the Convention Centre. It is 20 metres from many many fine restaurants and cafes. VINTAGE cafe ( 10% off to Camden Guests ), and FINGERS and BONE offer fine Australian breakfasts. Little Budda, Mandarin Court, Jimmys Kitchen, Burgerfuel, Subway, Baskin and Robbins, Sushi, Mexican, Noodlebox are all next to us. Nobbys Beach Surf Lifesaving Club offer free bus transport to their club on the beach right next to Mermaid Beach. Mermaid Beach Surf Lifesaving Club offer $10 buffet sunday breakfast to Camden guests.
Theme Parks, Currumbin Bird Sanctuary, river cruises, surfing lessons, massage, scuba diving, bicycle riding, skydiving, sport and gyms, fishing and walking are all readily available.
At the end of our street , beside the beach is Hedges Avenue. It is the most expensive street in Queensland. It is very interesting to look at the mansions, some costing 20 million dollars. Close by is much more affordable housing, so Mermaid Beach provides a great variety of culture and experience. Coolangatta airport is 15 minutes south and iconic Byron Bay is 45 minutes. Public transport stops at our motel. Famous Surfers Paradise is 15 minutes north.
