Pumphouse Point

Nestled deep in Tasmania’s Wilderness World Heritage Area, the refurbished Pumphouse Point sits on the tranquil Lake St Clair. Guests have access to free WiFi, iPads and a range of outdoor activities including canoeing, hiking and fishing. The deepest lake in the Southern Hemisphere, St Clair is a secluded escape, a 1-hour drive from the city of Queenstown, and a 3-hour drive from Hobart. This heated property has a contemporary feel, and features a shared living area with stunning lake and wilderness views. Guest services such as luggage storage and a shuttle service are provided. Located in either the Shorehouse or Pumphouse building, each room has a coffee machine, microwave, and a pantry filled with tempting food and beverages to purchase. Guests can help themselves to a free breakfast each morning in the Shorehouse, which includes toasties, granola, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Dinner can be shared in the Shorehouse dining room each evening.
