Ulverstone is a small coastal town in northern Tasmania, at the entrance of the Levin River from (River Leven) to (Bass Strait) in the Bess Channel. Travel to and from Melbourne and Tasmania Island ferry "Tasmanian Spirit" (Spirit of Tasmania) Wharf location of about 20 km (Devonport), west Penguin town of (Penguin) about 15 km by car, resident population of about 15000 people.
