Torquay

Introduction of Torquay

Torquay is a small town on (Great Ocean Road), Victoria's famous Dayang Road, with a permanent population of about 8,000, about 22 km by car from Gilang (Geelong) and about 18 km from Angie (Anglesea), the next small town on Ocean Road.

Torquay is Australia's surfing capital, Torquay's soul is surfing culture, and two of Australia's iconic surfer brands, Ripcurl and Quiksilver, originate here. (Bells Beach), one of the most famous attractions in nurseries, is perfect for surfing because of its natural environment, and surfers can be seen on the beach fighting the waves, especially during Easter, even in the cold winter. The annual Rip Curl Pro World Surfer Championships will be held in Beers Beach, and surfers from all over the world will gather around the world. If you happen to pass by, don't miss it. At the same time, Torquay has the famous Torquay surfing school in Australia, (Torquay Surfing Academy), many of the world champions come from here, for amateurs who want to learn about surfing, the school also has a variety of levels of courses to choose from. (Australian National Surfing Museum), Australia's National Surfer Museum, is also located in Torquay..

If you do not want to surf, just want to swim in the calm sea, then the town's Fisherman Beach (Fishermans Beach) is the best.
