Desperate Green Party members used Airtasker`s errands platform to pay for fake protesters to crush the (North Sydney Council) meeting of the North Sydney Parliament against a major local infrastructure.

Protesters against the (Gladys Berejik lian government`s tunnel project in Sydney`s North Beach have been revealed to have been paid for, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Political strategists believe the public relations skills of faking grass-roots mass movements will be widely used in the next state elections, involving a range of developments and construction.

Media investigations have found at least six ads on the Airtasker platform for protestors to attend the North Sydney Parliament on Monday night to oppose the local tunnel construction project. "sitting for 1.5 hours" can range from A $50 to A $100.

The recruitment ad also says: "if someone asks you, you can be said to be a friend of a local family and come here to support you. You will not be asked to speak or participate in any form of meeting. You can only watch it on the spot. "

Both the Labour Party and the Green Party are understood to oppose the Sydney North Beach Tunnel Project, and local community groups "stop Tunnel (stop the tunnel)" also oppose the project.

North Sydney Mayor Gibson (Jilly Gibson) said there was an influx of about 150 protesters at a meeting on Monday night to discuss proposals for the tunnel. She was not sure how many of them were fake protesters, who normally had fewer than 10 attendees.
