Brief introduction of University Astronomical Research Association

The University Astronomical Research Association (Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, is AURA) is a non-profit organization composed of astronomical research institutions from many universities. it was established on March 29, 1957 with the support of the National Science Foundation of the United States. The purpose of this organization is to integrate the manpower and funds scattered in the universities so that they can be used efficiently and avoid repeated construction. Originally attended by 22 universities in the United States, after decades of development, its membership has more than 30, and is no longer limited to the United States.
