 15 Oct 2016

The final four Ford Falcon XR6,Falcon Ute,Territory and the limited edition of the Winter White Sprint Falcon XR6 were sold in Melbourne on Saturday for a total of $353,000.

Prior to Ford's call for a 92-year-old local manufacturing, the cars came from the Geelong and Broadmeadows production line last week.

The Winter White Sprint Falcon, one of 500 limited-edition cars, was the most coveted and sold for more than $122000, more than twice its regular retail price.

All four cars ended up in Victorian families, with John Bradbury from Sunbury Ford buying ute and Winter White Sprint, a native of Boronia, Mark Jeff, who bought Falcon and Territory..

The money sold by Winter White Sprint will be donated to the Geelong charity Give Where You Live to help the local community.

The money sold by other cars will go to the students' robot project of Geelong and Broadmeadows.

The last unsold car will be used for the show of enthusiast activities until Ford, rents it to the Victoria Museum.

Ford will continue to employ 2000 employees in Australia, including 1100 designers and engineers.
