Melbourne`s two pet dogs continue to bark, helping their owners repel an unscrupulous rape offender at the cemetery, known as the "little hero."

A woman in Melbourne walked her dog at (Williamstown) Cemetery in Williamston last month when a stranger approached and pushed her to the ground and tried to take off her pants, Radio 7 reported.

"I immediately shouted at the highest volume," the victim said in an interview today.

The victim`s two dogs, Louie, a 2-year-old Australian Terrier, and RuPaul, a 1-year-old Xishi dog, immediately came to the rescue. Two pet dogs attacked the suspect ferociously, growling and biting.

The injured woman went on to say, "two puppies rushed at him. I think they saved me. It`s incredible! I`ve been wondering what would happen if they ran away or didn`t do anything."

The suspect then fled in the direction of K.C. White Reserve Nature Reserve in (Park Crescent), Park Road.

The victim ran home and called the police. The attack took place at 8: 30 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, when the woman did not see or hear anything suspicious.

The injured woman walks her dog in the graveyard every day, but the day of the crime is later than usual. She was shocked and scared afterwards and moved home within a week.

Senior detective officer Slydek (Jenna Sladek) said the two dogs played a "absolute" role in scaring away prisoners. "We call them little heroes."

Police call on witnesses to the case or people in cemeteries at that time, especially those gathered in cemeteries at night, to call the fight crime hotline (Crime Stoppers). As soon as possible

The suspect was tall and wore a black down jacket and a white eaves urinal hat at the time of the crime.
