 04 Oct 2018

On Wednesday morning, a woman was found dead on a Sydney playground, half naked and wearing a purple dog collar around her neck.

At 07:30, a municipal official found the body near a children`s play facility in Buffalo Creek Reserve, on the lower north bank of Hunter`s Hill.

Part of the body was covered with a dark cloth, but after it was opened, the woman was half-naked and had a nailed collar around her neck.

She was badly injured in the head.

There were reportedly 30-meter towing marks near the woman`s body and she was thrown just a few metres away from the swing and slide.

Police said the cause of death was "definitely suspicious" and that police officers had spent the whole day searching for evidence at the scene.

Neighbors also said they were shocked that such events were unusual in the quiet suburbs of Sydney. "it`s really shocking because it`s a quiet neighborhood," said one local resident. Every weekend, the park is crowded with playing children and barbecue families, which is usually a very popular place. "

"A city official opened the door at dawn and closed at sunset. I believe he found the body."

A few metres away from the body, there was an orange lawn mower.

The car is believed to belong to city staff, they found the body on the spot startled, and then called the police.

From the scene, homicide officers are in discussions, police are searching the area for evidence, forensic police photographed the body.

Around 07:30 Wednesday morning, emergency service personnel arrived to be summoned to the park in Pittwater Road.

Police have established a crime and investigated the woman`s death.

A man who stopped on his way to visit relatives and friends said the hidden park had always needed cameras and lights.

He said his parents once met a "frightened" girl who walked alone late at night and finally gave her a ride to a nearby store or safe place.

A spokesman for the new state police said the body was found in a park near the main road and that they had not yet identified the cause of death.

"We are already investigating the area, and once the crime scene investigation is complete, we will expand the scope of the search." He said。

The park is popular with local families. It features a newly renovated playground.

In the course of the police investigation, the park has been cordoned off and closed for the time being.
