Good! South Australia waives sponsorship fees for 482 / 457 students in most parts of the country! Come into effect this month!

South Australia`s government, which is known to all, is now aiming for overseas technicians with considerable working experience and a family. In an effort to attract more overseas talent to live and live there, it was announced that starting from the 2019 school year (January), 457 and 482 children of signatories will be exempted from their contributions to study in remote areas of the region.

The original contribution cost was A $5300 per pupil and A $6400 per secondary school student in 2019.

South Australia`s government has invested A $ three hundred and fifty thousand to support schools and students in remote areas and hopes to help businesses in remote parts of the state recruit the right overseas talent. The South Australian Education minister said government was committed to raising living and working standards outside the state, and that waiving the sponsorship of children from immigrant families attending public schools was one of the incentives.

But South Australia`s government itself has a more detailed division, and the state government defines remote areas in its territory as all but Grand Adelaide, so neither Mount Barker, Stirling, Gawler, Virginia nor McLaren Vale is what they consider to be remote.
