Australian beauty models lose their sight after getting tattooed eyeballs

 03 Oct 2017

Nowadays, many people love tattoos, not only on their bodies, but also on their eyeballs. Just looking at the picture editor's eyes felt a heart-piercing pain.

A few years ago, the eye-tattooing wave began in Australia, and dozens of people have already tried it.. The editor also admires their courage!

Recently, 24-year-old model Catt Gallinger lost her right eye due to the failure of eye tattoo surgery.. And now her right eye is too scary to look at.

Last month, Catt Gallinger made a scleral tattoo and stained his eyes white with purple. But due to a problem with the procedure, her eyes not only swollen up after the operation, but also continuously flowed purple liquid … He even went blind in the end!

Doctors prescribed some steroids, but three weeks later, purple tattoos began to solidify on her cornea, seriously affecting her eyesight and making her feel very uncomfortable. Doctors believe the infection may be due to excessive ink injected into the eyeball and improper disinfection of the instruments used.

The doctor told her that her eyes were permanently damaged and her eyesight could not be restored. But surgery can prevent the disease from getting worse.

Gallinger says she has spent hundreds of dollars prescribing drugs so she can no longer model. She advises people to be fully aware of the tattoos they use before doing eye tattoos.

Other experts say tattooed eyeballs are not only blind, but also at risk of cancer, and general tattoos can be removed, and eye tattoos cannot be washed off.

This surgery is self-harm, and get doesn't have a sense of beauty at all. It just feels like weird..
