Police investigating the Melbourne homicide confirmed that the dead, found late last night at the (Altona) house in Aalto, were killed by gunshot wounds.
Melbourne police arrived at a house on Aalto`s Civic Avenue, (Civic Parade), and found a body at about 11:20 last night, Radio 9 reported. There was visible blood on the front of the house.
Nearby neighbors revealed that a woman and two men had been heard quarrelling.
Police confirmed that the case was a murder case, which took place between 10:00 and 11:00 and was not recorded by residential surveillance.
Police have not yet announced the identity of the 26-year-old. A 48-year-old man was arrested and two others are assisting in police investigations. The police have not brought any charges.
