On Tuesday, online users shared a video of racial discrimination on a train on social networking site Facebook, prompting debate among Australian netizens, according to Australian News Corporation.

The video is reported to have been taken in a busy train car in Melbourne. The video shows two young white women arguing with an Indian woman sitting opposite. The exact cause of the controversy is unclear, but, according to commuters, it is "disgusting".

As the Indian woman sitting opposite seemed to ask the white woman to stop staring at her, the scene began to get intense.

"so what, who cares?" One of the young white women told the Indian woman. "shut me up, *. I don`t, I don`t shut up, *. "what else can you do?" Go back to your own country. " She continued.

"*, you * eat curry." The young blond woman in a black hoodie continued to roar at racist remarks. "I don`t know you, you don`t know me." "this is my country, not your country."

Photographers posted the video on Facebook on Tuesday afternoon, saying two young women were "racially abusing a woman sitting alone" on the train.

It is understood that three other well-intentioned female passengers intervened and pressed the emergency help button while sitting next to the attacked woman "supporting her until the two white girls got out of the car."

Two white women were reported to have got off at Highett stop on the Frankstone line. The video is also known to the state police.

Netizens have left messages accusing the two white women in the video of discriminating statements and praising the other three women who helped the victims "do well".
